In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith - the salvation of your souls.

I'm Tori, the middle child of Rittgers clan, and I'm sixteen. Some of the things I enjoy doing is singing, playing the piano (congregational, special music), writing, photography, reading, listening to music, and cheering on my absolute favorite hockey team, the Waterloo Black Hawks!
I'd like to encourage you to visit my online journal, by clicking either the link on this page or the home page. I update frequently, so check back often!
I'm so thankful that even when the going gets rough, God is still there! He has proven this to be true many times for me personally throughout the past year and recent months. One of the verses I have had to rely on, is Isaiah 43:1-3a:

"But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.                                                       For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;'"

What a great promise! Keep trusting God....this whole journey, all of the ups and downs, it's all going to be worth it one of these days, when we see the King of Kings!
